Please feel free to book it; you will be satisfied. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, the hotel staff was friendly, pleasant, and welcoming. The check-in process transitioned smoothly without any hassles. In the lobby, the coffee area provided a variety of coffee creamer flavors, with all cups individually wrapped. I have also never seen a hotel that offered actual fruit-infused water. So that was fancy to me. Heading up to our room, I noticed how clean the entire facility was; there were no dirty carpets in the entranceways, as you would expect to see anywhere else. Our room was spacious and comfortable; we booked a room with a king-size bed. The mattress topper and pillows were very comfortable and made of memory foam-like materials; they also provided six pillows. There is an entrance foyer before you get to the bathroom that houses your hair dryer; a big bottle of squeezable lotion was provided on the wall for your convenience. They also offered individually packed hand soap, shower caps, and makeup wipes. The bathroom has a toilet with a flush of 1 or 2. It is for water conservation, which I love! The pool and hot tub area smelled nice and strong of Chorline, which means clean to me; they had boatloads of towels folded nicely and neatly on each utility shelf, along with laundry hampers for you to put them in before exiting the area. The buffet-style breakfast was excellent.

I stayed here while running a race in Mount Airy and enjoyed it so much. They had bananas in the lobby with positive messages written on them, which I thought was a nice touch. They also had coffee, tea, oranges, and apples available all day in the lobby. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. The drive up from Mount Airy to Hillsville was also gorgeous!

The breakfast bar is just a bar, not really a breakfast. Overall, it is decent, but my sleep is important, so we won't be coming back Also , Choice Hotels needed my phone number to check in and then decided to spam call me a few days later, horrible.
